Over the weekend we were honored to outfit a dozen young models for the Junior League of San Jose's biennial Fashion Show & Gala featuring local designers and boutiques in the Bay Area.
This year's theme did not disappoint. The gowns, the masks, the tuxedos. The Uber drivers did not know what hit them.
Hosted by local NBC and Telemundo talent, the show was highly entertaining. But I have to give it up for the DJ, the music and sound system were amazing, the crowd was pumped and the checks were flowing.
Now can I get a drum roll please....
Our camera died *right* before the kids came on stage. Yep. So I crouched at the end of the runway in front of some very nice socialites with my little iPhone to try and capture some of the magic. So just keep that in mind.
The kids made up a small but very special portion of the show. After all, this charity's main focus is elementary preparedness and reading programs for underprivileged kids.
I only got a sampling of pics but these next few of them all together made my heart skip.
These kids worked so hard, doing two shows in one day, but don't let some of their expressions here fool you (seriously!) they were happy little troopers when I popped in.
It was a night to remember.
And here's one of me, taken in the Uber of course.
